If you want to run your Galaxy S5 at the speed of light, you should definitely check out the Exodus ROM.
Based on latest Android 5.1.1, Exodus ROM is an excellent AOSP ROM (What is AOSP?) that combines speedy performance, great battery life, and customization. First, you will find excellent performance and extract the most out of your Galaxy S5’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, getting near Note 4 performance without any overlocking (near 49K on Antutu).
For customization, you will get fully-customizable navigation bar, status bar, LED notifications by color, system animations, and much much more. ROM Control settings bring you even more stuff like LCd density changer, system app remover (for advanced users only, make a backup ROM before using this!!!), ad blocker, and OTA ROM updates.
Overal, Exodus ROM is another excellent choice for those of you who want to be on the best and latest Android 5.1.1 so give this guy a test drive this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

What makes this ROM different from the last one? (AICP)
Slightly different options and from different developer but AICP is super solid.
Does it support the Fingerprint Scanner?
hi , urgent question please. does it have wifi hotspot feature?
Yup all AOSP ROMs like this one has wifi hotspot working out of the box.
not a fan of the exodus rom–i had to manually set up the network and there is no camera app…very bare bones.
That’s easy to do, most AOSP ROMs require you to do that anyways and just download Google Camera app on Play Store.
I wonder if I’ll get malware again when clicking on the ‘play now’ captcha…
I guess I’ll give this one a miss unless I can find a torrent…
I’m not able to boot my phone, it get stuck on boot loop,, any thoughts?
You’ve got a soft brick.
This is by far the best rom for s5, I have a single big problem, the low speaker volume, any help please?
Apologies posted reply to wrong person …My bad!
Install Viper4AndroidFX, this will solve your problem…Link is at the bottom of the article.
Not sure if you still have the issue, but I did as well and was told to use this. It did make a difference. The Lite one should be enough to boost it to normal. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729652
Is there any way of getting the Samsung app’s like Milk or S health to work on Exodus rom for Sprint? I loved using the Milk Music app.
Install Viper4AndroidFX to solve this problem. The link is at the bottom of the article. Amazing sound is only an install away.
Apologies posted on wrong thread.
I’m having problem with my Canadian SM-G900W8.. it’s not connecting to Rogers Data. I’ve checked the access points and nothing was selected so i selected the LTE one and still nothing.. any suggestions
Also, i have contacted Rogers to help with the settings and still nothing. Had to go back to factory 🙁

Yeah I had the same problem. No data with Rogers. I’m currently using Blisspop but I wanted to try this one to compare. If anybody else got this to work on Rogers let me know.

Had a few freeze ups this ROM needs a good update: to iron these problems out! But other than that its a decent ROM but if these problems get resolved soon! I will be changing roms

All the problems i had on this rom have gone and i now have and 900f now rom 》 g928 lol this rom is rock solid! Glad i changed it and Xposed framework etc… etc… all work happy man 48.5k in benchmarks so near Note 4 performance too :)))
Hi can you put the link and complete name of s6 rom used please i have g900f
Does anyone know how to turn off the capacitive button lights for this rom. I have searched every setting multiple times and not found anything. The only thing I have found online states if you go into Hardware > General Button Options > then supposedly there should be a setting to turn On Screen Buttons on and once they are turned on then the option to turn off the capacitive lights shows up. The forums I have found that state this are for the OnePlus One so I’m not sure if the rom for the S5 and the OnePlus One has different options. I REALLY want to be able to turn off the capacitive lights. Other than this issue, I am really liking this rom. Thanks to anyone who can help!
How do you get the mms picture messaging working? I installed on my gf’s S5 and this is the only problem. TIA
Certain setting dont work? Location and lock screen? GPS does not work with Waze navigation?
Installed this ROM, ran it for about a week, and almost daily, would randomly get restarts that landed me in a boot loop. Would only happen once in a while, for seemingly no reason. I mean my phone would be in my pocket, not being used, I would take it out to use and would just see the boot logo. Started looking through settings to see if something was on that shouldn’t be, and found Exodus updater. Installed the latest nightly build, and problem was solved. No boot loop since then, and the phone seems even faster. Even gps works without the gps.conf fix. Now just have to find the xda volume mod, and I am set
Canadian SM-G900W8. I’ve liked this ROM so far but the bugs are starting to get to me. I download and install the dailies but still no fix. In the Settings: System Profiles, Location, Lock Screen and Accessibility do not work and the recent calls/call history doesn’t work either. I could work with no Camera or Music app, but even downloading a call history app wont fix the issue. Starting to look for a better rom.
Same issues here, would really like to see a fix for them (or useable app alternatives) using most recent nightly
I have one question. In many posts I have seen roms working with international version i.e. g900f, but i have dual sim variant. i.e. g900fd, so i am wondering roms will work with my phone. Thanks
What about SMG900H??
If I install it on my phone SM-G900H I’m having trouble?
The nightlies are now monthlies, and that is IF the developer decides to release it… Havent had update since Dec. 31, 2015… I am hoping the developer is just taking a break…
Beware, the updater app is flagged as a virus, you may not want to trust this rom because of it…
Use at own risk!
nice tutorial . I have a couple of questions. if I’m already running a custom recovery and install this, will it erase everything to install this rom as a fresh wipe, right I can just use titanium? would it work with apps such as nova launcher? what items other than finger print would you lose? and lastly, will I lose the ability to use certain apps? sorry for all the questions I just installed my fresh rom and don’t want to mess it up. thanks again
Anyone else having issues with the Bluetooth not wanting to turn on?
I’m having trouble getting into the accessibility settings…
