For those of you who don’t know, did you know there’s a “Private Mode” on the Galaxy S5?
Basically Private Mode on the Galaxy S5 allows you to easily hide your photos, videos, and other personal files from others. Whether you are trying to hide your photos/videos that you don’t want others to see or simply hide important documents, you can use the Private Mode to do so.
Once you turn on Private Mode ON, you will see an option to make your files private when using Samsung apps like Gallery, Video, Music, Voice Recorder, and My FIles app.
Step 1. Turn Private Mode ON in your Notification drawer. If this is your first time, you will have to setup a security lock using Swipe, pin, etc…etc…
Step 2. You will then be able to see your private files and also move files to private mode.
Step 3. If you turn off Private Mode, your private files no longer show.
This is very similar to Hide It Pro app, which I actually use to hide my private files that I don’t want others to see.
If you didn’t know, now you know how to use the Private Mode on the Galaxy S5!
