Alliance ROM for Galaxy S5! [TouchWiz Lollipop]

For those of you who must stick with TouchWiz for some reason (perhaps you have an S-View cover or use Gear S watch), let me suggest a great custom ROM based on latest TouchWiz firmware, the Alliance ROM.

Alliance ROM is available for AT&T SM-G900A, T-Mobile SM-G900T, Verizon SM-G900V, Canadian SM-G900W8, and SM-G900F/G900M/G900I.

How to Update AT&T Galaxy S5 with Lollipop and Root!

For those of you with a rooted AT&T Galaxy S5 and still have not updated to Lollipop, here’s how you can easily update to Android 5.0 Lollipop and also keep root.  This method is preferred over flashing stock firmware as you will be able to keep root.

First, you will need to download FlashFire.  To do that, first sign up for Android FlashFire G+ Community, then sign up for the beta FlashFire here.  Once you do those two, open up this link with your Play Store app and you should be able to install FlashFire app.

For those of you who want the best and great of Lollipop for your Sprint Galaxy S5 SM-G900P, you may want to just consider installing the latest MOAR Lollipop ROM by XDA user Rompnit.

FYI, I have been following MOAR ROM for many years now since MOAR ROM with Sprint S3.  Well, this is a custom ROM made by one of the best Android developers on earth so you cannot go wrong with it.

Stock Rooted Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM for Sprint Galaxy S5!

For those of you who want to enjoy the latest TouchWiz-based Lollipop for your Sprint Galaxy S5, check out either the ported version of international Lollipop or slightly-modded stock rooted Lollipop ROM.

For the ported international version, you will get a working wifi hotspot, working call recording, KNOX removed, call blocking for calls/MMS/video, and modded MMS so your MMS will work out of the box. I actually like this version over the Sprint version because it has zero Sprint bloatware and also you will be able to experience 100% what the international S5 users get. The only thing not working on the ported version is your Wifi Calling so if you must use that feature, I highly suggest to use the Sprint Lollipop instead. The performance and battery life is excellent on this version, I have tested over a week while using it over at CES 2015 in Las Vegas.
