For this week’s ROM of the Week, check out the latest version of Alliance ROM.
There’s now TWO different versions of Alliance ROM, one built from SM-G900F and one built from T-Mobile SM-G900T firmware. Both of these versions can be installed on SM-G900F, SM-G900I, SM-G900M, SM-G900T, and SM-G900W8. They are nearly identical features except the T-Mobile version includes WiFi Calling for T-Mobile users.
UPDATE: There’s also a Verizon version now you can install!
Based on latest KitKat firmware, Alliance ROM brings you ROM Control Settings AKA “Alliance ROM Settings” that will allow you to tweak every part of your UI to the maximum, sorta like AOKP ROM Control with AOKP ROM.
With Alliance ROM Settings, you can change colors of your themes, change backgrounds, add/remove notification panel buttons, customize Power Menu, enable call recording/conference call, customize hardware keys (short, double-tap, long-press), customize lockscreen including AOSP lockscreen, screen-off torch shortcut, enable 360 degree rotation in launcher, enable 180 degree rotation in lockscreen, enable NFC with screen ON/Off, and so much more.
For themes, you can also switch 18 different custom themes if using TouchWiz launcher so you don’t get bored of your UI. Alliance ROM also includes couple nice Xposed modules you can play around with.
